I love a city. London, Toyko, Paris, Berlin, New York – the world’s great cosmopolitan cities are where I prefer to lose myself.
Chasing the perfect sneakers in Harajuku, perfecting your craft cocktail skills in Berlin, exploring Montmartre’s food scene with a New York Times best-selling food blogger … an Anthology itinerary combines location and individual passions to create unforgettable experiences.
Case Study: Thanksgiving in Paris
When M&S approached me about planning their trip to Paris over Thanksgiving break, their mandate was clear: no wasted meals. They were only going to have three days in the city, so they wanted to make the most of their time.
Their itinerary included:
- Lunch at a three-Michelin star restaurant specializing in vegetarian food
- Thanksgiving dinner at Verjus, a fantastic little restaurant off the Palais Royale owned by Americans, who’d put together a special Thanksgiving-themed prix fixe meal
- A private food tour through Montmartre with a New York Times best-selling Parisian food blogger, which counted as a meal in itself!
Because flexibility was also important to M&S, the rest of my recommendations were loaded onto a private google map, so they could wander through the city as they liked, but easily figure out where to eat based on the map’s recommendations relative to their location.
