We then set out to learn as much as we can about you as an individual and your past travel experiences, so that we can tailor our itineraries to feel truly customized.

OUR PROCESS

After you complete our inquiry form, we’ll schedule a quick consultation call to make sure we’ve got all the information we need on what you’re looking for.
We’ll explain a bit about how we work, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have about working with us.
If we mutually decide this is a good fit, we’ll send over the planning fee invoice and get started on crafting the trip of your dreams!
Now that we both know which direction we’re going in, we’ll send you a questionnaire designed to pull more personal information out of each traveler: what do you absolutely have to have to make a trip perfect for you? (Soaking tub, great coffee in the morning, a great hotel bar?)
Similarly, we want to know what to avoid - in detail - whether that’s aspects you just don’t care for, fears & phobias, or allergies to keep in mind.
We draft a detailed brief about you and your traveling companions based on what we’ve learned about you.
If you’re repeat clients, we’ll include nuggets of feedback received on past trips, along with copies of itineraries you loved.
All of this goes to one of our carefully-vetted, award-winning local destination partners, who work with us to craft the perfect itinerary.
We’ll review the proposal and tweak until we feel it’s just right for you, then present the draft itinerary to you for review. We want you to be completely satisfied and excited about your proposal, so we don’t limit the number of revisions you can make.
Once you’ve given us the thumbs up, you’ll deposit on your trip and we’ll get to work confirming everything.
Our internal operations team, in collaboration with our local partners and your hotel concierges, work to add in the extra pieces that make our trips so special, including customized dining reservations for every client, every time.
All you have to do? Pack.
We’ll wish you farewell and check in periodically throughout your trip. Your local in-destination team is there to support you every step of the way.

CUSTOM TRIP PLANNING

Travel is an amazing way to connect with friends and family: planning travel for your friends & family, however, can be a direct path to fraying relationships. We’ve worked with families, groups of friends, small businesses, and more to create experiences that take everyone’s needs into consideration and balance structured time with touring against independent downtime.

Custom trip planning is an A-to-Z service: we include everything from accommodation choices to transportation logistics to hand-selected activity options. Concierge services, including restaurant & spa reservations, come standard with this option, and specific requests requiring individualized research are welcome.

Investment: Rates start at $1,000/week of travel

CRUISE, HOTEL, RESORT BOOKINGS (without other services)

Simply looking for a river cruise, a hotel for a long weekend, or a resort to flop on the beach? We’re happy to flip through our mental Rolodex of incredible cruise, hotel, and resort partners to select multiple options we think will be perfect for you.

Hotel and resort bookings include standard concierge services of airport transfers as well as on-property spa and restaurant reservations. They do not include individualized research on off-property activities or additional ancillary services, which would incur a pro-rated custom trip planning fee.

Cruise bookings include standard concierge services, but do not include pre- and post-stays unless booked in conjunction with your cruise at the time of deposit. Anything outside that scope will be charged at a pro-rated custom trip planning fee.

Investment: $350 per room or cabin

Know exactly what you want, but prefer for us to handle the reservation for you? For hotels in the Virtuoso portfolio, or those in our preferred partner network, we’re happy to handle the booking directly - just submit a VIP Hotel Inquiry form.
