The Client Profile Process

Paris-screen-8540.jpg

One of the first things Anthology Travel clients receive is a questionnaire, asking them about a lot of preferences.

The goal of that? To build a client profile that I can use to keep the client-centered when I’m planning and to be able to paint a picture of what they love and would rather avoid. This ensures your trip is built for you, and only you.

For example, here’s how my own client profile looks:

Must Haves:

  • Centrally-located hotel with spacious rooms, bathtub, and great breakfast

  • Shopping (but alone, not on a tour or with a personal shopper)

  • Some outdoor time (could just be an hour in the park reading)

  • Great food options (but picky eater - no seafood or unchangeable prix fixe menus)

Good-To-Haves:

  • 1-2 museum stops

  • 1-2 day trips outside the city

  • 1ish private or small group tours (more or less depending on subject)

  • 1-2 nights outside the city (if there’s a great hotel experience)

It’d Be Nice:

  • Food tours

  • Chocolate shops

I’d Really Rather Not, Thanks:

  • Traditional sight-seeing

  • Top 10 lists

  • Cooking classes

Absolutely Not, No Way, Never:

  • Snakes

  • Heights

  • Large tour groups

Surprisingly Into:

  • Sneakers

And there you have it! The ingredients to a perfect Kate trip.
